The Adventurer is Maracay Homes Plan 2155 at Victory at Verrado, the 55+ side of Verrado in Buckeye: 2 bedrooms plus a den, 2.5 baths, and about 2,350 square feet with a two car garage.

The great room is in the center, about 19 by 21, and opens to a covered patio. The kitchen has an island and runs along one side, with the dining room at the back. A courtyard is set into the side of the home between the kitchen and the den. The primary bedroom is at the back corner with a tub, a separate shower, and a walk-in closet. The den and Bedroom 2 are at the front, and Bedroom 2 has its own walk-in closet and bath. A powder room is off the hall.

The garage is drawn 29 feet deep, which leaves room for storage or a golf cart behind the cars, and 2 foot and 4 foot extensions were offered. The sheet also shows an optional expanded patio and an optional fireplace in the courtyard. The builder notes that all square footage is approximate.

This plan now comes to market as a resale. Maracay now builds as Tri Pointe Homes, so a listing may show either name. Victory is still building, just not this plan. The new construction now is Encore by David Weekley and Four Seasons by K. Hovnanian. If you are weighing a resale against building new, call me before you visit a sales office, because builders want your agent registered on that first visit.

Compare it to the Entertainer at about 2,280 square feet has the separate den wing, and the Traveler is the next size up.
