Fort Verde, Jerome, McFarland, Riordan Mansion, Tombstone Courthouse, Tubac Presidio, Yuma Quartermaster Depot, and Yuma Territorial Prison all offer a look back in time with museums about the local way of life, tours and an immersion in history.
To learn about the natural environment, try one of the parks with guided interpretive walks or hands-on programs, like Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park, Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, or Kartchner Caverns State Park.
Be sure to get out there and enjoy this Labor Day weekend! No matter what part of the Valley you live in, there’s an event or something fun to do close by. Have a safe and enjoyable Labor Day weekend!
