The Arcadia is a Neighborhood Series plan at Arizona Traditions in Surprise: 1 bedroom plus a den, 2 baths, and 1,283 square feet with a two car garage. It is plan 9023 on the original builder sheets. A second bedroom in place of the den was a builder option.

The kitchen and dining area are at the back of the home next to the primary bedroom. The great room sits along one side, with the covered patio off the back of it. The builder sheet calls the primary bedroom oversized, and it has a walk-in closet and its own bath. The den is at the front beside the second bath, which keeps guests or an office away from the primary suite. This plan also has a large laundry room and a workshop and golf cart space off the garage.

The builder sheet shows two separate patio extensions as options, so the outdoor space varies quite a bit from one Arcadia to the next. A fireplace with media center and a hobby room were also offered. Arizona Traditions is built out, so the Arcadia comes to market as a resale, and what you pay depends on lot position, which options the first owner chose, and how the home has been kept up since. My job is to help you see both the positives and the potential concerns in a specific home, and the plan drawing is only the starting point for that.

The Arcadia sits between two other plans worth a look: the Cholla at 1,198 square feet, which is smaller but came standard with two bedrooms, and the Kenilworth at 1,424 square feet, which adds a separate dining area and a breakfast area.
