Jokake Floor Plan at Arizona Traditions

Thinking about the Jokake?
The Jokake is a Resort Series plan at Arizona Traditions in Surprise: 2 bedrooms plus a library, 2 baths, and 1,699 square feet with a 2 car garage. It is plan 9131 on the original builder sheets.
This plan has two bay windows, one at the dining area and one at the breakfast area. The dining area and great room share the back of the home and open to the covered patio. The kitchen has an island and its own breakfast area on the garage side. The primary bedroom is at the back corner with its bath and walk-in closet, and the second bedroom is at the front. The library and the second bath sit between the two bedrooms. The builder sheet shows vaulted ceilings in the main rooms and the primary bedroom.
What you get with the Jokake is two places to eat and a kitchen you can work in with more than one person. What you give up compared to some plans here is a separate workshop or golf cart space, so the two car garage has to handle everything. The library works as an office or a reading room. Arizona Traditions is built out, so the Jokake comes to market as a resale. I would look closely at how the kitchen and baths have been updated, because that is where the cost shows up after closing.
Compare the Jokake to the Westward Ho at 1,728 square feet, which adds a formal living room and a workshop space, and the Coronado at 1,704 square feet in the Neighborhood Series.
