Orangewood Floor Plan at Arizona Traditions

Thinking about the Orangewood?
At 1,052 square feet, the Orangewood is the smallest plan on our Arizona Traditions list. It is a Neighborhood Series plan, number 9021 on the original builder sheets, drawn as 1 bedroom plus a den with 2 baths and a two car garage. A second bedroom in place of the den was a builder option, so you will see this plan listed both ways.
The kitchen and dining area sit along one side at the back, with the great room beside them opening to the covered patio. The primary bedroom is at the back corner with its own bath. The den is at the front by the entry with the second bath next to it, which is why the builder called this a split plan and why the den converts to a guest bedroom so easily. Between the laundry and the garage there is a workshop and golf cart space, and the builder also offered that area finished as a hobby room.
Arizona Traditions is built out, so every Orangewood is a resale. When a listing calls one a two bedroom, check whether the second room has a closet and a door or is still an open den. At this size, that detail and how the workshop space was finished change how the home lives more than anything else. Price moves with lot position, how much updating has been done, and the age of the roof and air conditioning. The floor plan will not tell you any of that, which is why I look at those items with clients before we talk about an offer.
If the Orangewood feels close but not quite right, compare it to the Encanto at 1,105 square feet, which moves the kitchen to the front of the home, and the Cholla at 1,198 square feet, which came standard with two bedrooms.
